JAVA Apache Wicket ComboBox Setup

The ShieldUI ComboBox Apache Wicket component offers streamlined setup and deployment of our libraries.

Since it is a wrapper of our javascript ComboBox component, you need to include the references to the CSS and JavaScript resources in the HEAD section of your webpage:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>Shield ComboBox</title>
<meta charset="utf-8" />

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/light/all.min.css" />
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.10.2.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/shieldui-all.min.js"></script>

</head>
<body>
    <select wicket:id="combobox">
        <option value="1" selected >one</option>
        <option value="2" >two</option>
    </select>
</body>
</html>

Then init the combobox and add it to your wicket page like in the following example:

ComboBox combobox = new ComboBox("combobox");
ComboBoxOptions options = combobox.getOptions();

options.setAutoComplete(new ComboBoxOptions.AutoCompleteOptions()
                                           .setEnabled(true)
                                           .setMinLength(0));
add(combobox);
