ASP.NET Core DateTimePicker Setup

Shield UI DateTimePicker for ASP.NET Core is a server-side wrapper component implemented as an ASP.NET Core MVC Helper.

For a detailed guide how to setup Shield UI for your ASP.NET Core project, check out this page.

The ASP.NET Core MVC helper API is a 1:1 mapping of the JavaScript DateTimePicker widget configuration, so you only have to get familiar with a single set of configuration options:

// JavaScript Datetimepicker demo
$("#picker").shieldDateTimePicker({
    openOnFocus: false,
    showButton: true,
    editable: true,
    messages: { calendarIconTooltip: "open" },
    value: new Date(1900, 1, 1, 12, 0)
});
// ASP.NET Core Datetimepicker demo
@(Html.ShieldDateTimePicker()
    .Name("picker")
    .OpenOnFocus(false)
    .ShowButton(true)
    .Editable(true)
    .Messages(mb => mb.CalendarIconTooltip("open"))
    .Value(new DateTime(1900, 1, 1, 12, 0, 0))
)
