JAVA Apache Wicket DateTimePicker Setup

The ShieldUI DateTimePicker Apache Wicket component offers streamlined setup and deployment of our libraries.

Since it is a wrapper of our javascript DateTimePicker component, you need to include the references to the CSS and JavaScript resources in the HEAD section of your webpage:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>Shield DateTimePicker</title>
<meta charset="utf-8" />

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/light/all.min.css" />
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.10.2.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/shieldui-all.min.js"></script>

</head>
<body>
    <input type="text" wicket:id="datetimepicker" />
</body>
</html>

Then init the datetimepicker and add it to your wicket page like in the following example:

DateTimePicker datetimepicker = new DateTimePicker("datetimepicker");
DateTimePickerOptions options = datetimepicker.getOptions();

options.setOpenOnFocus(false);
options.setShowButton(true);
options.setEditable(true);
options.setMessages(new DateTimePickerOptions.MessagesOptions()
                                             .setCalendarIconTooltip("open"));
options.setValue(new Date());

add(datetimepicker);
