JAVA Apache Wicket NumericTextBox Setup

The ShieldUI NumericTextBox Apache Wicket component offers streamlined setup and deployment of our libraries.

Since it is a wrapper of our javascript NumericTextBox component, you need to include the references to the CSS and JavaScript resources in the HEAD section of your webpage:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>Shield NumericTextBox</title>
<meta charset="utf-8" />

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/light/all.min.css" />
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.10.2.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/shieldui-all.min.js"></script>

</head>
<body>
    <input wicket:id="numerictextbox" />
</body>
</html>

Then init the numerictextbox and add it to your wicket page like in the following example:

NumericTextBox numerictextbox = new NumericTextBox("numerictextbox");
NumericTextBoxOptions options = numerictextbox.getOptions();

options.setEnabled(true);
options.setMin((double)0);
options.setMax((double)20);
options.setStep((double)1);
options.setValue((double)5);
options.setSpinners(true);

add(numerictextbox);
