JAVA Apache Wicket MaskedTextBox Setup

The ShieldUI MaskedTextBox Apache Wicket component offers streamlined setup and deployment of our libraries.

Since it is a wrapper of our javascript MaskedTextBox component, you need to include the references to the CSS and JavaScript resources in the HEAD section of your webpage:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>Shield MaskedTextBox</title>
<meta charset="utf-8" />

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/light/all.min.css" />
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.10.2.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/shieldui-all.min.js"></script>

</head>
<body>
    <input wicket:id="maskedtextbox" />
</body>
</html>

Then init the maskedtextbox and add it to your wicket page like in the following example:

MaskedTextBox maskedtextbox = new MaskedTextBox("maskedtextbox");
MaskedTextBoxOptions options = maskedtextbox.getOptions();

options.setEnabled(true);
options.setMask("000-000-000");
options.setPromptChar('_');

add(maskedtextbox);
