JAVA Apache Wicket Pager Setup

The ShieldUI Pager Apache Wicket component offers streamlined setup and deployment of our libraries.

Since it is a wrapper of our javascript Pager component, you need to include the references to the CSS and JavaScript resources in the HEAD section of your webpage:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>Shield Pager</title>
<meta charset="utf-8" />

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/light/all.min.css" />
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.10.2.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/shieldui-all.min.js"></script>

</head>
<body>
    <div wicket:id="pager"></div>
</body>
</html>

Then init the pager and add it to your wicket page like in the following example:

Pager pager = new Pager("pager");
PagerOptions options = pager.getOptions();

options.setTotalItems(99);
options.setMessages(new PagerOptions.MessagesOptions()
                                    .setPreviousText("prev")
                                    .setNextText("next")
                                    .setFirstText("first")
                                    .setLastText("last"));

add(pager);
