JAVA Apache Wicket QR Code Getting Started

The ShieldUI QR Apache Wicket component offers streamlined setup and deployment of our libraries.

Since it is a wrapper of our javascript QR code component, you need to include the references to the CSS and JavaScript resources in the HEAD section of your webpage:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>Shield Chart</title>
<meta charset="utf-8" />

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/light/all.min.css" />
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.10.2.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/shieldui-all.min.js"></script>

</head>
<body>
    <div wicket:id="qrcode"></div>
</body>
</html>

Then init the qrcode and add it to your wicket page like in the following example:

QRCode qrcode = new QRCode("qrcode");
QRCodeOptions options = qrcode.getOptions();

options.setValue("ShieldUI");
options.setMode(QRCodeOptions.Mode.BYTE);
options.setErrorLevel(QRCodeOptions.ErrorLevel.L);

add(qrcode);
