select

The select event is fired after a tab has been selected and before it has been activated.

This event can be cancelled by calling .preventDefault() on the event object.

The following additional properties are passed in the event object:
tab - the LI element, containing the tab title
content - the DIV element, containing the tab content
active - a flag inidicating whether the tab is currently active
activate - a flag inidicating whether the tab will be activated or deactivated
index - the tab's zero-based index
item - the data source item for this tab
